Penny Archer was born and educated in Auckland, New Zealand and at the age of
18, began living her dream of travelling around the world. She spent two years
in London and Europe before heading to Australia for the next 15. In Darwin, she
was the Director of Marketing for the Department of Industry and Business, Asian
Relations and Trade and traveled extensively to promote her city to business people
in South East Asia. She managed a Marketing Centre, and was also Managing Editor
of a business magazine with an Asian Australian readership. Her job also included
the writing of speeches for Ministers of the Government. In 1994, she moved to
a city near Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates, to work in the Business Faculty
of the Higher Colleges of Technology. While there, she taught Marketing Research,
International Business, Critical Thinking and Business Research. Since June 2002,
she has spent her time between Munich, Germany and her holiday home on the island
of Lesbos, Greece.Her qualifications include:
